Colour : Very dark amber.
On the nose : Fresh, airy, with orange zest and cloves.
On the palate : Sandalwood, rosewood, cedarwood, liquorice stick and cigar box.
Finish : Blackcurrant, black berry, mature olive and rancio.
Grape variety : 100 % Ugni blanc.
This remarkable blend combines a Grande Champagne cask from 1964 harvest with a rare eau-de-vie from the family's personal reserve of the Bergier family reserve, a Grande Champagne from 1858 harvest.
