The 10-year-old Pineau is matured in oak barrels, produced in the traditional way, and hand-packed in small, highly distinctive batches with fruity, cognac-like notes.
Tasting notes:
Nose: marked by notes of white-fleshed fruit: pear and peach. This is followed by notes of figs, walnuts, acacia honey and vanilla wood. Slightly oxidative, you'll notice aromas of Charentais rancio.
Palate: a gentle attack, this 10-year-old pineau evolves towards notes of grapes and apricot to reveal a great acidic freshness. You will then discover aromas of old cognac, coffee and undergrowth.
