A blend of fresh juice from the Merlot and Cabernet sauvignon grapes and eaux-de-vie aged 1 year from Cognac. It displays exquisite notes of red fruit: cherry and cassis with deeper wood character.

Tasting notes :

Intense red fruit aromas, with notes of cherry and cassis. Deeper wood character.


Serve chilled (8-10°C), as an aperitif or with dessert. The perfect accompaniment to chocolate.

Ageing : 15 years minimum in French oak casks from Limousin and Tronçais forests.


Cru : Petite Champagne, Family single Estate.


Terroir : Chalky, thin soils on top of soft chalk from the Cretaceous. Very high limestone content from the surface down. Montmorillonite clay provides our fertile soils with good structure and water reserve.

Grape varieties : Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.


Age of the vines : 30 years, located at the top of the hill of Laage, 17500 Réaux.


Production : Blend of 75 % grape must and 25 % Cognac distilled in the previous year. A Production at the Brissons de Laage Estate.
